Will Gun Club Road ever be widened to four lanes?  <p class="info">For homeowners that travel Gun Club road from southeast Aurora to the major employment centers (Buckley AFB, University of Colorado, Northrop Grumman, Raytheon, etc. in northern Aurora, traffic can be a nightmare at times.  This is especially true during any type of lousy weather...you will always see numerous cars that have slid off the road or into each other.  Since this only a two lane road, any type of traffic accident will result in traffic backups.</p><p class="info">With all of the trash trucks rumbling down the road to the Denver Arapahoe Disposal Site (DADS), in addition to the construction traffic, one is always "stuck in the slow lane."</p><p class="info">One would also think that the amount of traffic of Gun Club is a safety hazard.  If one doubts this, count the number of crosses that have been planted on the side of the road.</p>
